The awesome Hedi Slimane has a website! Now, we care about that. Don’t we? It’s reminiscent of the old Dior Homme website (the golden ages) which is still online somewhere. I forgot the link. I’ll post when I find it. 

Summer Shemaghs

It’s 36 degrees out. That guy from last night’s weather report even suggested the possibility of hell on earth — temps in the city could reach 38 degrees Celsius.

So I’ve been out the past few days and I’ve been noticing trendy assfucks wearing shemaghs. They’re not hypebeasts no. They’re the skinny jean, skinny shirt, flip flop wearing kind of dudez. Why blog about it? Because it’s quite alarming to see 2 of such incidences in a week. That’s abnormal. And it’s quite appalling that it’s fucking surfacing this summer?.Of all times, they chose summer. Well probably because the trend just ‘arrived’ in manila from the west. Oh well. If you’ve been following Street style blogs from last year or even earlier, you’d see a shemagh trend. I am predicting that in the following months, everything on here would be all about neckwear. You’d see magazines, newspaper editorials with models proudly glorifying the magic of scarves in a tropical country. Trust.

Hypothetically logic just dictates that in a few weeks time, we’d see a hoard of highschool kids in Galleria all wearing some kind of neck accessory. Imagine going to a high school fair.

Shemaghs aren’t a crime to wear or anything like that. As an example, designers like Henrik Vibskov had shemaghs in his collection last season – the label is very streetwear btw. It’s like homeless Chic. Seriously. They weren’t nice IMO. But please, don’t wear a shemagh during summer in a tropical country. Heavens.

Singularity

I’ve been thinking about what to write about for the debut entry on this blog for the longest time… Right now,  I’m thinking too much about “writing” a “good one”… Which sucks cow vagina.

This blows.

Well, Welcome to WWCA. A blog I conceived and started yesterday to hopefully deliver great material for people like you and me who care about certain or rather specific, amazing, and swell things existing and happening on this rock. So, in the following days I would probably daydream and encounter something that would compel me to type.

Art, Design, Music, Style, Fertilizer.. you name it.

So that’s it. This is probably the first time I make a blog of this kind and i have high hopes for it! I’ve got ideas now, and so prolly tomorrow is the time I change lives.

My intention in writing this entry is along the line of the first track of RJD2’s Album “Dead Ringer” which is entitled “Salud”. The following lines are ripped off the song, I just changed and rephrased his monologue.

I have lots of ideas written right now that I can write about as my first entry, some of them are great, some of them are Britney Spears’. I don’t hate any of it. I just can’t decide which one to start with. I won’t start the blog with an article about any of these so-called ideas, because I already started.
